came up with a positive sign. However its knomt that easy to say I am. the up and down line was really dark. and the across line was faint? does this test mean I am pregnant?

Yes, any kind of a line, whether faint or dark means it is positive. There is always a chance for false positives though, so you should go see a doctor and get tested to be sure.
