How do i get over someone i still love?

It takes time hon...don't rush it. What I will tell you is that you should try to cut off all modes of communication until you feel better about it. Talking on the phone, email, IM, etc just keep all those feelings there and it might not affect him but it will only make things harder for you. Also, like the previous answer, try to do some stuff with your friends, that really helps! Also, do things to keep yourself busy-- if you sit on the couch and stuff thinking about it you will only suffer more. Hope this helps!

i would say to hang out with your friends, sleep over at their house... thats what i did when i lost my boy... it was so hard to stop thinking about him. . . . but i found out that it was better for my and my (ex)boy friend to break up.. because than i found someone new.. someone who treated my a $h!t load better... maybe from this break up, it's telling you to find someone else and be happier... i know you will love him. it doesnt take just one day to get over a break up.. it takes weeks, some times like months.

Ive been through it. and the worst part? after we broke up in the summer i found out he was in my class. So i tried to get over him even though i saw him everyday. Its tough, just get involved, build a better relationship with your friends and family, and like other people said, avoid him for a while. trust me. i loved that guy for over a year after we broke up and talking to him only made it worse. I stopped talking to himn as mjuch and now were good friends and nothing more! take everyones advice on here ebcause it works.
