Hard to be a christian

Im a christian and its hard for me to be a christian because I try to show people that I am one.Advice??

I agree with several people. I'm pretty sure people can tell I'm a Christian because, I try to be nice to everyone around me, so that, if I am kind towards others, and I have a positive attitude, it may lead someone ask me why. but, are you a Christian to show it or because you believe it. but, yeah, ask a pastor if you want more.

you cant reallly show you r one.. unless your preachy... id say wear a cross necklace.. but a lot of people do and arent all christian... you cant really show you r one?

Do you mean that you want people to know you are Christian? Or that you want to show people you are Christian?
If you want people to know you are Christian, you could just tell them, like you told us.
If you want to show people you are Christian, you just need to act lovingly and kindly to all people and really show people how you are a person of god. One of my favorite quotes is from Mother Teresa, Each one of them is Jesus in disguise.

being a Christian is a way of life, WHO you are, its not something you put on and off like you change clothes...and its not just a Sunday once a week thing...as Scripture says , show Christ through love, kindness , actions and deeds...its daily living. Setting ourself apart from the world in that we don't partake in the things the world does that aren't of God. Doesn't mean Christians are stiffs and can't have fun , it means that we live IN this world, but are to be set apart from this world, if that makes sense...We aren't Christians by any acts that we can do, we are Christians by the grace of God and His love and sacrifice. Being a Christian is a RELATIONSHIP ..our relationship with Christ...and in having that we have the honor of sharing Jesus with others and His great love for us.

Uhm, if you find Christianity difficult, why not just dump it? It's a bunch of nonsense anyway.

If you are trying to SHOW it, that's pride.
Just live it quietly. The idea should be to be a good example, not a flag waver.

Don't try to prove it to anyone. The way you carry yourself wil show your christianity. Study Galatians 6 and learn more on what a christian is about. There are certain elements to be an Christian.

When you have the Holy spirit within you, believe me, it'll show.

by living the way he wants you to is a hard way as christians meaning little christ is can be pretty dificult but when you can gaze at him and only glance at the world to see what you can do to show him through what you do. someone once told me when your going through a hard time for him that mountan will either make you bitter or it will make you better its up to u but remember james 1:2-4
