Dear lena19,
I gather that he has been going through some ups and downs and that is why you think it is bipolar? If he is abusive, touches you in anger or is verbally abusive then you need to speak with your parents. Too often people will say they are bipolar as an excuse to abuse others...in most cases this isn't true and even if it were no one has the right to abuse. If I am correct...you need to keep your distance from him. Tell your parents he may need help and have them speak with his parents. We love many people in our life time that doesn't mean we will be with them or obligated to be with them. Many women who feel they love an abuser and feel they need to stay end up dead.
Sue...good luck
well I am bipolar. its not rude to ask, so just ask him. im sure he wont mind because I got a lot of bipolar friends. people ask me all the time and its nothing that wil;l hurt his feelings.
Maybe he cannot give you the right answer. Not all bipolars know this about themselves. But if you are not dare to ask this question your relationship is not the best.

How can I tell if my boyfriend is bipolar?
I think my boyfriend is bipolar,
but I'm afraid to ask him, what should I do? I really love him.
