What are remedies for horrible cramps?

wenever im on my period I get these real bad cramps and I cnt do anything about them. like I have a parcetamol and I sit down for a while but they don't go and then when I least expect it they go and then about 10 mins or soo later they come bak! its...

really getting me down does anyone no any remidies or anything 2 help?

girl honestly I have bad cramps also and I've had my period since I was 10, all I do is take advil every 4-5 hours or so and that helps with the cramps, take as much advil as you feel necessary for your body weight and height, it might make you a little drowsy and it is also a blood thinner so don't drive, or operate haevy machinery after taking advil. believe me I've tried everything there is no remedy...

Its true, theres no remedy that will completely cure cramps, but I find that the more active you are the better they are, also, just relaxing with a hot water bottle on your tummy, the t.v, and some advil is best you can do lol.

oh, also, wearing tampons can increase cramps, so you might want to try wearing a pad if your really in pain, it might help :]

Go see your doctor...some girls have endometriosis that are causing cramps. The rest of us are told just suffer, go on the pill or have a child. Well none of this worked for me. Being very active before your period tends to help a lot as well as watching what salt you consume. Over the counter pills made for cramps work fairly well but they only take the edge off. Heating pads on the tummy help some as well. Usually the first day is the worst and it should get better every day from there.

Try Motrin or Midol... For menstrual relief..(Take menstrual relieving pills 2 days before you start your period) The heating pad or warm water bottle over the cramping area is a great idea.. Laying down helps... I always tend to push in on the cramps and it seems as if it relieves it a bit.. I've heard Lavender oil helps too!! (I've never tried it though!!) Bananas are supposed to help muscle spasms and cramps, not necessarily directly aimed at menstrual cramps, but give it a try!

Well this is what I do and trust me girl it works. Lay down on your back and take biofreeze or bengay or icyhot or some type of mucle relaxer that is cold then get hot or is hot then gets cold. Rub it on the place where you cramps ar and then let a fan blow on it for a while. I know this does not sound fun but once the mucle relaxer is dried do 50 sit up. I am not even lying to you it works like a charm.

well everytime I use advil it make me bleed more because its a bllod tinner. I will start using aleave and see what happend. anymore tips for cramps.
