So we have two kittens. Because its so hot I told my GENERAL I'm going to give them haircuts. I have OCD with detail. Do you think this is bad?

I gave my cats haircuts, they are loincuts and they are cute. The cats love them, they aren't throwing up hairballs and the shedding is so much better. Do it.

Ummm...I wouldn't. Maybe if they were long haired adult cats it might be ok. But, I would never cut all the hair off of a kitten, especially if I wasn't a professional groomer. Kittens are pretty small and you could easily nick their skin or toes on accident. Plus, cats are supposed to have fur, they're used to it and the heat doesn't bother them that much as long as they are given shade to rest in and plenty of fresh water.
