Heaven in the clouds?

Why is heaven usually depicted on top of clouds? Is it really on clouds? The clouds also look white, and Earth is the only known place where there are soley white clouds. Is heaven located in the clouds of Earth? Please give suggestions. Thank You.

I don't think anyone really "knows" the correct answer to where heaven is nor can they point you to the right direction!! but I do believe in a heaven...and from the bible... I know it's somewhere up in the clouds =)

Heaven is another world.
Like most other religions (And being a Christian, I suspect you are too so this may sound odd if your of another religion),
They believe that there is an after life, and depending on your good deeds or beliefs you go to either the good or bad one.

Heaven is just called 'Up there' because it's described as the upper level because upper is usually better (Unless you live in a poor country, in which your usually poor because your farther away from water, food, etc).

people have been to the clouds ( and above ) so we know what's up there and it's not heaven ( duh ). Heaven is situated in the minds of believers.
