You'll just die Make believe thoughts of heaven and hell are just for comfort. Your last dog died...let me guest, heaven? We humans make up places to comfort our own souls. That's why religions start.

Read The God Delusion and you will read true examples of how religions start, even in the 1900's...then disappear. Each religion had a heaven and hell, every single one!

So believe what you want and you'll find your answer. I believe in Humanism...heaven is here on Earth, when you are happy. Then you die.

There is no heaven or hell.When you die its like a light switch click and your dead.You remember nothing about your life.The reason for your life is to keep the human race alive thats it.The reason people tell you about god is so you live a life and think something good is going to happen when you die.The church is not holy its built by normal men.Hundreds of years ago the Catholic Church would have you and your family killed if you dident belive in the church.So before you belive there is a god make sure you see it.

God does say dont commit sucide, but he also says dont steal or kill or lie or cheat yet im a christian and I've lied and I've hurt people before but I know god still loves me and im going to heaven so if you were a true christian u'd go to heaven, but I dont recdommend to anyone to commit suicide

Well, people do say you'll go to hell (if there wasn't a good reason, I suppose), but since religion can be so vague and might not be telling the truth, there's no way to tell for sure...

I real dont understand the world, in ALL other ways they NEED to simplify explanations, but if it gets to religion, they have get truely complicated in order to try to explain their believes, how come??? I would tell you why: Because in order for any person to believe with you, you have to get them in an emotional state, which fear is part of also. The moment you get them gittery, they are like putty in youre hands! Sure they can feel proud of their outcome huh? That is exactly why you guys target non believers, because it flip your mind that these people are indeed able to cut themselves loose from fear which keeps you guys clenching to religion. Ask yourselves: How can these people even achive this? A: Because they really made an atempt to study biblical statements, thought realistic towards it and broke loose from all delusion, thats why! Not actually. You can go to heaven only if Jesus forgives your sins. He forgives only when we repent and ask for forgiveness. Since suicide is a sin after committing which you cannot repent and ask for forgiveness you will only land up in Hell.

but I think in most cases, people are miserable because of their own misteaks and they dont ask god too help them. they feel hopeless, kill themselves and probably end up in hell. if it is a child it is different. god wouldnt put a child in hell. or anyone who has the mind of a child. example: someone whos mentally challenged; down syndrom

it depends whether or not you know better. my friend commited suicide in october, I believe he went to heaven. you would have never suspected he wouldnt want to be alive. he was a sweet, innoccent 16 year old guy. he seemed a lot younger at heart because he was a little slow but he was the cutest thing on earth and his funeral was the saddest thing ever. I just can't imagine him being put in hell.

So eternallife help me with this one then: A man rape a 5yr girl, resist arrest, got shot and lay on his death bed. He ask for a priest, who prayed for his sins and he was forgiven (went to heaven) BUT Mommy could forgive the man, she hated him with all her heart. Had a car accident and died (went to hell) The little girl grew up and just couldnt handle life (was raped and Mom died) so she committed suicide (went to hell) Is that really a fair deal, or someone who didnt think before making all these rules?

Also eternallife - did it ever occur to you that there might be a SLIGHT change that when you die, there is going to be NOTHING??? A human brain has got a little electric current and if the plugs are pulled, the light goes out. The so called WHITE light everyone is making such a big deal of, is nothing else than the last current flow before you loose consciousness, same than when you get a hell of a bump against your head! In those minutes your brain cant realize the difference between reality or subconcious thoughts any more and your loved one faces flash through your mind OR if you did some bad stuff THAT would be the time to see hell. So when you go right past that and your organs fail, you die like any other animal species on this earth, sorry that I must break the news to you!

Here is a situation. You are speeding on a car on a particular road and many people stop you and tell you that there is a great danger at the end of this road.

Nah the normal realistic person would drive down the road, understanding that someone warned them about the danger but take it much slower, slow enough to SEE for himself, if this person did not only over react or was only day dreaming!

As for the poor Mom who had to go to hell because she hated the rapist so much, you surely dont have your own kids yet, can you even in your wildest dream bring yourself to her level and understand her situation???
You really think it is realistic for a parent to have a 2 month period then stop your own feelings because someone told you, you would go to hell??? Think again and if you are REALLY HONEST you would know im talking the truth.

What exact proof do YOU have that there is a heaven/hell/god/satan did someone perhaps return from there to tell their story? Mean to say not a prehistoric story, of people who written the story who didnt know earth is round or a thunder storm is only a natural thing!!! Did anyone in the past 100 years wake up a burned person and said hell is hell lol

God, being both the perfect Father and the perfect Judge will determine if one who commits suicide goes to heaven or hell. If one was on meds, or not in their right mind at the time of committing such an act, then God in His infinite wisdom and true understanding will work it all out. They may very well enter into Paradise (heaven).

Bible does't speak anything directly regarding a person killing himself. But there are lot of others verses that teaches about life after death. Let me explain my 2 views based according to bible..

We make note of what the Bible says about Judas Iscariot.

1. John 13:26-27 Satan entered into him.
2. Matthew 26:47-49 He betrayed Jesus.
3. Matthew 27:3 He repented of his betrayal of Jesus.
4. Matthew 27:5 Judas HANGED himself. (Committed Suicide)

Judas still had Satan in him when he committed suicide. So you say that the Bible does not say that, well show me where the Bible says that Satan left him! Would you really argue that Judas, because he was an apostle and followed Jesus Christ, would now be in heaven, even though he committed suicide. Jesus said at the Last Supper that Judas Iscariot was dammed when he pronounced a Woe against Judas. The Bible shows us that when a Demon takes possession of someone or severely oppresses someone, that that Demon tries to make that person hurt or destroy himself. I believe, because of this, that those who commit suicide are being controlled by Demons. The Holy Spirit and Demons can not live in the same house at the same time.

Let me show you Second Example...

I Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 3:17 If any one destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and that temple you are.

Is it merely coincidence that this is 3:16? What other verse is in 3:16 of John? In one we see God giving the life of His Son to save ours. It should not come as a surprise then that God would be angry that we, however depressed, should waste the grace He bestowed on us at such a HIGH COST to HIMSELF. Now, does that mean that the person who commits suicide is sent to Hell? Good question. If the suicidal person had an abiding faith in God one might assume that such a person would NOT do such a thing but would rather trust that the God who saved him/her would provide a means of escape. And at the very least that person would count it a blessing to suffer for God. Even though their suffering was not due to their work at church or for God they could still serve God by suffering with grace and love, showing the kind of grace and love that is clearly supernatural and of God

As far as MY (and only mine, I'm not sayin I'm right or wrong) belief system goes, I think it depends on what you did on Earth and not how your death happened. I believe in a God that doesn't judge someone for making one mistake that was fatal when he forgives on that doesn't result in death. Just my opinion. I think that it is a mistake to end your life because most of all of your problems can be fixed, but I think someone who tried to be a good person and helped others that killed themself will still go to heaven.
