Health care

Asked by cancersurvivor 5 months ago, 4 answers.

Can anyone name me one country that has a nationalized health care plan that works, and by works means that their citizens aren't coming here for health care because the waiting list is either too long or they have been denied care because of age?

Every Canadian I talked to seemed happy with their health care system. I'm sure there are people who have problems with it but there are lots of people who have problems with our hybrid health care system as well.

The French system is the best in the world, in my opinion. Better than the US of course, as well as the UK, Canada, and Sweden. It's a combination of public and private funding, but the state plays a much stronger role than in the US. It also avoids many of the pitfalls currently facing systems like the NHS.
