well I've juzt started the 8 th grade and like always you have to make new friends well last years friends got difrient classes so I got a guy as a friend in my class his name is juan > I can tell he likes me but iam not sure = this is how it started : well he took my gum and I told him to give it back but he said ihad to give him sumting in return and he said a kiss so I agreed but on our way to lunch the teacher took it from him and gave it to me so I said haha now you dont get the kiss and he was like " dont worry I steal it later then at luch he kised me in front of every one ! but now iam dressing better for him and hes acting weard when we walk together!, but at lunch hes ok with me and every thing . Is he doing this for attension since iam popular in the school or does he realy like me ? what do you think give me the most advise you can !!

Well, Im a guy and from my experience its weird when someone sounds/looks too desperate. We( guys ) eventually get over it. Just dont bring it up and if you really like him tempt him for another kiss.

He may just be acting wierd because he is trying hard to impress you. Let him know that you like him, and he doesnt have to be anything he isnt. Let him open up and "cut loose". It will help your relationship too, for him to know he can be himself with you.

Nice going, that guy! :D Anyway, it's still his move, I dunno what to say, but I am inclined to believe that he's not into you as much as the others here might think, but rather looking to prove himself in the eyez of the other colleagues. Act normal, don't do any favors to him (yet), and you will figure out where he's going. As a last resort and although it wouldn't be too cool, when you catch him a little off-guard you could look him in the eye and ask why he did kiss you in the first time.
