How can i help my friend stay out of trouble?

Ok so I have this guy friend...hes practically my best friend...
I mean...apart from my boyfriend...but he drinks and smokes...

it seems like hes always gettin himself in trouble and...ends up in juvy...

what can I do to help him out? I care about him...

soo much...how can I open his eyes to see...his life can be so much better...?

show him what a good time he can have WITHOUT drinking or smoking. take him to a theme park or something and spend the whole day there with him and show him you want to help him.

the best thing to do is to show him by being a good example to him. talk to him, but don't push the ideas on him, just talk to him and show him how it is better to live without all that gradualy. it's like a little kid, if you dress him up in adult clothes and send him off to work he won't be able to do anything. if you wait and slowly sart to send him to school, nursery, preschool, kindergarden, 1st grade... he will grow and learn and one day he will understand. just know that it's up to him, there is nothing you can do to change his adatoode tword life, all you can do is help lead him in the right direction.
