dont listen to thecool, just tell this guy that you have feelings for him and you would rather not help set them up, plain as that.

I am little afraid of telling him that I like him. I don't know his reactions of that... I think he is really in love with her (my friend) and that just keep hurting me

what if your friend doesn't like him?
besides, I'm sure he likes you as a friend, cause he's asking your help!
just ask your friend if she likes him too, and if she does, then you'll just have to get another guy, or tell him: I like you so much, but I understand that you like her not me, so I won't force you to get with me!
then you'll have to find another guy, ye see, he's not the only good guy on this planet!!

well what I think its good to do is to help him to get with her . And when they are together for like about a month or less tell him you like him. Then he is going to want to be with you , since the other girl is giving him crap.

Tell him you like him before you talk with your friend , then he won't be waisting his time with the other girl.

I have just been through the same thing, I fell in love with my best friend and hid it from him for over 9 months. It was hard as hell because we were so CLOSE and I didnt want to say or do anything to ruin our friendship. After awhile I couldnt take it, I was tired of hiding my feelings, so I told him and after everything we've been through and did together, I was rejected. I was heart broken. I know telling someone how you feel is hard and scary but you cant hide it forever or you'll always be wondering what could of happened. Needless to say, me and my boyfriend are no longer best friends. I suggest you tell him rather you want to or not, its best for you. Just be prepared for what could happen! You could possibly kill 2 birds with one stone with your confession. One being, if he has feelings for you like you do for him, and two if he doesnt have those feelings, to see if you twos friendship was ever really a friendship to begin with. I asked my friend what she thinks of him. She first says I don't know, but then she told me that she doesnt love him and want to stay only friends for now. (She told him the same thing) But that FOR NOW, really made me think. I asked her: How do you mean for now? Do you plan to have something more with him later, in the future? And she first says no, but then: Where should I know what will happen in the future..I dont know...
Ahhh, maybe she plans somethin with him in the future. Oh and Imme, your right, he is not the only guy on this planet, but he is close to the right guy. I cant wait for mister. right guy forever. Oh and Im planning to tell him that I like him soon...
