IF things are that good between you, why arent you dating? If you just want sex without the commitment, it may be easy for a guy to do, but not for girls. What you dont get about the friends with benefits is, girls get emotionally attached to someone she has sex with. Unless your cold hearted and have no feelings...your asking for trouble!

It ruins friendships! It also gets confusing even though you say it won't, and at least one of you will get hurt by the idea of not being in a real relationship. Or, when one of you meets someone you want to date and have to go back to being friends.

If your just in it for the sex, and you dont have feelings, then by all means...go for it! (Live learn Sweetie)!!

Dear stana,
Friends with benefits are always a bad idea. During sex humans create a hormone that mentally bonds us closer to the person we are having sex with. This hormone is much stronger in women...so now it is becoming obvious here...men can carry a friends with benefit relationship much longer. They may have several friends with benifits...as some ladies may have too. This increases the chances for STDs and a host of other nasties. Most people, male or female choose this type of relationship when they are afraid of being hurt or afraid of commitments. If this is the case they should seek out a counsellor.
Sue...good luck
