Have you seen the movie 'idiocracy'?

Do you notice the similarities between the setting in Idiocracy, and present-day America? I get the sense that the creators of the movie intended this kind of thought, that our 'western' civilization is starting to spiral backwards and down, and all we...

need to do is just think more to start moving up and forward again.

Is this baseless, and merely a personal reflection? Or is there really a message hinted at in that hour and a half of nonsense?

Funny movie. And yes, now that I've been living abroad for about three months...the one thing I don't miss about some parts of the US is the (seemingly) glorification of ignorance.

Extremely crude, the movie was...but very funny.
