Have you ever taken ballet?

If so what did you like about it, or for that matter what did you not like about it? Would you do it again if you could go back in time?
Would you try to talk someone into trying ballet?

Lastly what do you think of boys/men in ballet?

I took ballet twice a week after school in 4th grade. I kinda liked it, the costumes and learning routines and stuff, but I DIDN'T like feeling so self-concious and worried about being laughed at for doing something the wrong way.

I probably would do it again, but I'd remember to just let loose and stop being so damn worried about what everyone else thought. I never saw most of them again, so...

I actually like the idea of guys in ballet class. when I was there, there were only like 2 or 3, then by the recital, there was only 1 left, or maybe he left too, I dont remember... but anyway, I think it's a shame that more guys dont show a little sensitivity or swallow their pride and get into a class. I think its HOT=D

I took ballet from when I was 4 until 14. I also along the years took tap, toe and jazz. If I could go back in time I would do it again, I loved it. My 4 year old daughter takes ballet classes and she loves to float around the room like a fairy. I don't see anything wrong with boys taking ballet classes...it improves their coordination so what could it hurt?
