Haters of emo/scene kids.

Ok, so what is with people making fun or judging emo/scene kids? Usually the people who stereotype emo kids don't even know what they are.
We don't all cut, some preps do, so what the f*ck? Why aren't we stereotyping you?

I understand that the emo era is a new thing so people don't really know what to expect or think. But I think it is dumb to be rude to someone just because of what clique they are in. ;d
I am scene. And I don't think that it is right to make fun of people cause they are more edgy and bold, we could make fun of you cause you are bland, and conservative. ;d

I make fun of scene kids because you're effing retarded. Guess what? You're not an individual when you all get the same silly haircuts, listen to the same awful music, use the same assinine internet/text lingo, etc. And I'm not even speaking from a preppy or conservative point of view. I've been involved in the punk/hardcore/skinhead/ska scene for 15+ years, have many tattoos, and play in bands, and I assure you...scene kids are a joke amongst any subculture. The only thing backing up this sub culture is internet promoting and fashion. What the F*** kind of subculture is that? Punk rockers had anarchy, politics, etc. Skinheads had working class, politics, and soccer. Rude boys/Girls had jamaican culture. What the hell do you have to offer? Seriously guys. You. are. so. retarded. But look at it this way, it's like some twisted pansy evolution of any one of the subcultures I mentioned earlier. And we all hate it, just like when you get older, you'll make fun of whatever silly subculture kids are doing when you're older. So there you go. We make fun of you because you suck. But it's your turn to suck, and someday some one else will suck worse.

I personally don't hate any stereotype, I don't understand some of them.. or why people want to be classified as a certain label. But I deffinatly don't hate any. But isn't Emo a type of music? How is that a sterotype then? I would never want to be Emo.. but that's just me. Quit calling yourselves scene. It makes you look like a fcuking follower and retarded. I have nothing against the fad, for I may look like I follow it. But people around you are ALWAYS going to try and have something to hate and make fun of. It just seems that 'scene' is their target nowadays. GET OVER IT and just ignore it. People don't make fun of it around me...I just think you're looking for someone to hate you, someone to hate how you dress so you can get on the computer and rant about it just to make yourself look cool. Okay honest to god.. I agree with the person who made this post 100%. Just because someone might look emo or scene doesn't make them part of a label or a stereotype. They're just as original as anyone else in the world. Leave people alone. I mean, I don't label myself because I'm not a tin can, but I guess if I did, I'd be scene/emo. And I find all of this really stupid. people are people, deal with it. scene / emo people aren't clones. they're all individual, too. Grow up, haters.
