Heh- Steve Jobs killed the Radio Star! Nice!
I don't think it's really killed radio- I mean, radio has it's uses. I found that, after spending a year or so not listening to radio, I had no idea that some of my favourite bands had released new albums etc, so I tend to listen to hear samples of new music that I can buy.
Not to mention, before the iPod, there was the discman, which probably drew people away from the radio first. But yeah, good question!
I still listen the the fm on my mp3 lol and sometimes on the stereo but thats it
No, radio has been sucking for years...
radio will be around for quite some more time I say
really, those things killed arlier things like the cd-player and portable diskman, tape player, portable tape player and even the record player
if no mp3s were around today wed still be listening to radio and those other things.
but time moves on, things change and evolve.
everything thats new one year
is old and retro the next nowdays
Like lex said, it's hard to keep up with new music without listening to the radio... also it comes in handy with traffic and other news

Has the mp3 player killed fm radio?
Send me Fun Mail
Most people these days have an iPod, Zune, Zen, or some other mp3 playing device. You can listen to an mp3 player in the car, while you're jogging, while you're in your office, and also plug it into your home audio system.
Does anybody listen to FM radio anymore, or should the Buggles write a new song about how Steve Jobs killed the radio star?
