Has anybody ever had trouble with an ipod?

Because im thinking of getting one, and I was talking to a girl and she said her songs ahd been deleted everyime she updated her ipod. So I want to know, has anything like this happened to you guys?

And are ipod nanos tough? Like if you drop them or use them a lot.

it depends how she removed the iPod from the computer, I once removed it without properly ejecting it and EVERYTHING was wiped (a lot of the stuff that was on it cannot be found anywhere)

u need 2 buy a zune all my friends ipods died the week after they got them

My friend's brother chucked their nano out of their window from the second floor. It didn't even have a scratch on it! And...the reason why that girls songs had been deleted when she updated her ipod is probably because she used 2 computers...u can only use one computer to get songs...otherwise all of your old songs are deleted...it cums up with a warning mesage though before you sync your ipod on another computer so as long as your not dumb and click yes ure fyn. Ipods are good to have anywhere...get one
