Hairy arms

I have really hairy arms but my mom says shaving them will make them burn and be irritating, but my friends say I should shave and they dissagree with her I need advice

I do. And it does not burn and make them irritating.

I shave my arms and it dont burn me... and it makes it nice and smooth

Well I do it.
But if you do shave them because they grow back twice as bad.
My mom didnt want me to do it either so I think you should go for it.

shaving your arms is just like shaving anywere else
if you use shaving cream or condition while shaving you wont get the burn
...you will though if you shave with shampoo, plain soap or just water
...your skin needs a barrier over it
and those 2 things make it easier to shave and protect your skin from most cuts
so feel free to shave, its just the same as shaving your legs
also if you dont want to shave try something like Nair
its a cream that you put on and then wipe off after...
it removes hairs like that

I have always been self concious of my arms as I have mediterranean blood in me and therefore my hair tends to be darker (strangely enough I'm blonde on my head) and my arms were black haired. I hated it - so my last resort was shaving it. I wasn't going to wax it because it would go all red.

I did it and I felt so happy and clean. It didn't burn at all. However shaving will make your hair come back more blunt therefore your hair will grow quicker - just like legs really.

Go for it if it makes you happy. I don't tell people I shave them but some of my closest friends know and they just laugh it off. They knew how insecure I was about it.

my arms never get irritated... but if they do, you can use lotion or something.

go head just dont use a razor cause I heard that they grow back hairyer so I say just wax em it doent hurt @ all.

I personally never have shaved mine but all the people I know say it grows back hairier. They didnt say anything about burning or anything.

THEY DONT GROW BAC THICK IF you CONTINUE 2 SHAVE THEM IF you USE A RAZOR...WAXING 2 ME CAN B VERY PAINFUL...ANY TYPE OV HAIR REMOVAL WILL MAKE THE HAIR COME BAC THICKER

I would not shave them at all if you can't make the commitment to continue with it
