Hair to grow?

If I braid my hair every night before I go to bed, will my hair grow faster?

I dont think so

No, my stylist told my daughter to never put her hair up AT ALL at bed time. It can cause more damage by breaking and splitting hair. Ponytails are worse, because the damage occurs at the rubber band. Braids can cause the damage also.
Having your hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks is truly the only thing that will help it grow. (=

there is nothing that can make anyones hair grow longer faster
and braiding wont help either
if anything, it could be slowing down your hairs growth
especially if the braids are tight and your braiding it every day
it would be pulling at your hair and damaging it

Well, try trimming your hair often. At most 2 months you need to trim once. I will help your hair to grow faster. And, try massaging your hair while you're washing it. =]

I don't think trimming it makes it grow faster, because think about, your hair grows at the TOP of your head, and cutting it off continuously is just going to make it shorter... although the ends will be healthier!
