How should i do my hair?

I keep my hair in a ponytail all the time. Can someone give me some hairstyle ideas. My hair is a little past my shoulders and I'm African American.

do you have a perm? you can get a cute choppy haircut with a long deep side bang.

you could try a bunch of small braids (it takes forever though)

well if you like the ponytail then try braiding your hair from one side of your forehead and then braid it over the other side. so that it curves on one side and then end it where the ponytail starts. its not as complicated as it sounds.

I don't want a bunch of braids unless it's freestyle and I don't have the money for that right now and I'm not much of a cornrow person.
