How should i do my hair when i'm a metal musician?

I'm a bass guitar player in a band that's yet to be seen and yet to write a song so I won't release our name yet. Anyways I wanted to know what kind of hair I should get. I've tried the long curly power-metal look, can't straighten it since I don't have...

Not everyone it metal has long hair. Take Rob Halford for example he always had short hair with Judas Priest.
