Hair dye

I dyed my hair black a couple months ago and now im bored with it now I want my hair to be lighter on top and still black on the bottom like 2-tone hair is that possible or will I have to wait until the black grows out

It's possible, but you'll have to bleach the top for a while
then add the color you want.

My hair took a really long time to bleach when I first got high lights
and my hair was only dark brown, so black may take quite a bit of time.
