They didn“t explain HOW it turns orange or why
I got that explanation from a stylist who told me, inside ur scalp, u got folicules or pholicules, dont know how to translate them, that contain tiny little grains, let`s say, and if they`re dark, or light, it`s the way your hair will grow looking like...
Dark grains inside them, have orange pigments, and light grains have greenish pigments, that`s why ashy dark blondes have more natural looking results, than black or dark brunettes do
What u have to do is block your natural pigments, if u were BORN naturally a VERY DARK brunette
if u have a brownish, light brownish or even an ashy brown, you`re safe, because it`s the easiest base to work with.
You get honey strikes WITHOUT BLEACHING, and you add on top some white highlights BLEACHED of course....
The hardest hair to turn blonde are extremely dark brunettes and black hair... From brown to dark blonde, i say go for it...
Plus, i heard a year ago, a big company was doing reseach for a COPPER BLOCKER, for us, non natural blondes who want to get rid of that nasty orange colour
My theory?...I believe that if u inyect some kind of solution to those grains inside the folicule u can lighten them and get them to grow your hair the colour u want... But , say goodbye to the billionaire business of hair dye ...
Some of the time if you try to go too light with a darker shade of hair, the instructions given aren't adequite for darker hair. it is to change the hair by one or two shades, so when you dye your hair too fast, the chemicals don't get a chance to work properly so the hair turns orangish. just do what brighteyez advized and your hair should be fine. give it a couple of weeks to settle out a bet. best of luck!
