well, im not sure if its normal but according to bubbles19 I guess it is.
so try getting your hair cut and try laying off hair products or hair dryers and stuff that can damage your hair.

thats when your getting split ends and the hair is dead so it loses pigment (color) you just need to trim them off. thats all.
