Hair (:

Laurenn & Kyle Asked by laurenn01 about 1 month ago, 4 answers.

how can I persuade my mum to let me dye my hair again? I only want to go Chocolate brown, so nothing too drastic, but she says no because of money, but people we know are hairdressers and they have said they will do it for near on nothing, but she still...

says no.
How can I persuade her? x

well first maybe your mom like the way your hair looks now .. plus dyeing your hair is something that you need to be sure cause after you need to do roots that implicate money and treatments but if you really want to color your hair maybe you should talk to her asking why she don t want cause you know there is semi permanent and demi permanents colors that will work for between 2 months and 4 months then fade away maybe that could be an option if that is the case but even dyeing your hair is not something really expensive but please don t use the cheap products in drugstores or wal mart use the real stuff sold in salons it s way better for the hair keeps the shine and protects the hair too and the best is that they cost almost the same thing which could be around 15$ to dye it actually I use semi permanent cause if I want my color back it will eventually but keep in mind to talk to your mom about all of it and try to get her to say yes ... ours moms are all the same so it can be hard but natural is always the best choice at your age

well if your mum say no cause of the money I think you should listen. I no it may seem really unfair but I no how hard it is. you may seem liek you want it really badly but you dont need it. if your mum dosent have the money she doesnt have the money. so get over it and I no thsi may seem mean but it makes you seem very selfish. But if you want it so bady go to the chemist and get one of those packet ones... they are like $10. but listen to your mum... she gave birth to u, you should respect her wishes

I can only tell you, that if your mother doesn't want you to dye your hair again, especially when other people are willing to do it for a fair price, she must have her reasons, and most likely, because she loves you, those reasons are very relevant. But, children never comprehend their parents, so, I'm not sure you'll get what I'm trying to explain.

I'll just end this by saying, that people are cunning and calculative. So, the same hairdressers that are ready to do your hair for a small price must have their own reasons as well that might have to do with their personal interests.

But! I don't know you, I don't live with you and I'm not obliged to understand you and vice-versa, so take this as an opinion only.

She probably doesn't want to spend /any/ money on something as stupid, vain, and unnecessary as dying your hair.

We're going through a recession, you should be more understanding by now.
