Hackers looking at websites...

Asked by rachelds 11 months ago, 4 answers.

Is it possible for a hack to come into my computer without me noticing, go onto certain websites, save pictures to certain files, delete cookies and history, and delete pictures AND erase them from the recycle bin?

Sure, possible...however, extremely unlikely especially if you have any kind of firewall, don't surf with IE, etc.

Sure is possible,to be very honest if your using Internet Explorer, your at risk of a lot of things, such as viruses easily getting into your PC. Make sure you turn your Firewall on and keep it on at all times, install mandatory updates that Microsoft sends to your computer, keep your antivirus software updated. The best web browser most people are using these days is Mozilla Firefox, very darn safe and FunAdvice is actually best viewed in it. Use that instead.

it sounds more like a virus than a hack. unless you have a really good hacker friend who is ticked off at you.

most real hackers just go in and steal information undetected. Wireless connections are easier to hack too.
