Guys, a little cologne advice?

Phoenix In my Heart Asked by fawkesfire about 1 year ago, 12 answers.

Alright, so my boyfriend really isn't a big cologne wearer, in fact he says most of the smells are far too strong for his taste and he really doesn't like the way they smell on him...

Now he wears deoderant and he showers on a regular basis and he...

doesn't stink...he just can't seem to find a cologne he likes to wear for special occasions...like a wedding or a party or something...

I do agree with him for the most part, a lot of the smells are just a bit too strong and I don't think I'd like the smells on him either, especially since the last one he tried left my eyes watering about a hour after he put it on. Any help?

Well... go WITH him to one of those shops in the mall that sell fragrances (I can't remember any names), and find one that suits him.

If he wants something that you can smell but not like overly - I suggest he get some male body wash. Some of it smells so good and its like the guy is wearing cologne but its not that strong smell its gental. I suggest Addidas or Axe (the yellow one is the best).

I should also mention that he doesn't bathe in the cologne either, it just seems to strong to him...I know some guys like drench themselves in it, but he doesn't...like one spray...

I still think the body wash would be better - it smells like cologne. happy

Yeah, body wash will work... he could also use the body sprays instead of actual cologne.

ugh, dont make him buy axe that stuff its so gross. I am pretty sure most girls hate axe. I would take him to a department store. Ask the salesperson to help you find something light that will match your boyfriend's natural scent.

captainassassin,

he really doesn't bathe in the stuff...I think he's just having a problem finding something light scented.
