sometimes glasses can help you to look good but in some occasions, like going to beach,theme park, etc. glasses should be left and try wearing contacts. for your hair have you tried growing it long? if not,try it and maybe you could discover some new styles if it is longer. or if you cant stand the curls try having a semi-bald hair which is also neat. hope that helped. peace.
