Go to your local library and get a :HOW TO PLAY GUITAR book.
They'll deffinetly have them.
If you want specifics you can get Guitar For Dummies.

They are really helpful and I had a guitar teacher who didn't teach me half as much as I know from that book.

Practice reading Tablatures, You can go to practically any guitar site that has tabs, it will include a sheet on how to read them.

Start off easy, by picking the incredibly easy tabs, until you get comfortable with how to read them. I can play a small bit of guitar, but I haven't got a clue how to read sheet-music... everything I know is from tabs. If you need any help with them, funmail me, and I'll get back with you on what information you're looking for.
