ok, well I really want to learn how to play guitar.

Which is better.
Acoustic, or Electric.
or any tips for a beginner. ?

For a beginner - acoustic would be better and cheaper. You dont need an amp to play acoustic.

my sister is a beginner and says an electric is easier. she has both. I played both too, and I agree... electric is easier. personally I perfer the drums. ^_^

It depends what music your into.
Acoustic is cheaper, but if your into your rock music, then probably an electric is the way to go, you can buy the all in one packages which usually include the guitar, the amp, plectrums, tutorials, etc.

im starting off too.
id say acoustic...

maybe when...we get better...we can invest in an electric?

for a beginer you should get acoustic because itll be more simpler

theres pros and cons for both
PROS FOR ELECTRIC:
1.easier to push strings down
2.variety of shapes, colors, sizes
3.customizable (can switch pick-ups/amps for different sounds)
4.can be used for almost ALL genres
CONS FOR ELECTRIC:
1.can be expensive
2.can't play acoustic songs (DUH)

PROS FOR ACOUSTIC:
1.cheap
2.dont need an amp
3.good for serenading (haha)
CONS FOR ACOUSTIC:
1.can only play acoustic songs (as in you cant play metal)
2.harder to push down strings (most times)

I would suggest electric

I HAVE BOTH BUT THE ACOUSTIC GUITAR STRETCHES OUT your FINGERS and MAKES THEM HAVE MOR FLEXIBILITY and MAKES THEM STRONGER...THAT WAY when you GET THE ELECTRIC ONE ITLL B EASIER FOR U...BUT THEN AGAIN...U got to LOVE THE INSTRUMENT you HAVE SO W/E CATCHES your EYE MAN...GOOD LUK
