Guinea pig

my cute little piggies! Asked by hipeople 10 months ago, 5 answers.

What does it mean when guinea pigs vibrate, caz, when I hold mine it always vibrates.

No it's called vibrating by Piggy experts, and they all do it...just not always for the same reasons.

They can do it when nervous, they can do it when they are very content...and ALL females do it when in heat.

it means there a bit nervous I had a couple of guinea pigs they always vibrated when ever I held them.

It's not vibrating - it's shaking and trembling. Most likely it's afraid. You have to give your pet time to get used to you and it's new surroundings.

when you pick them up and pet them they will do that in comfort! I have two of them and they jump really high and the air and squeek and some times it will mean that they like each other
