well I think if you have split ends then it will take longer to grow..

if you want longer hair fast I suggest trimming it regularly and not washing it everyday because the natural grease from your hair hydrates it a lot. also if your using a straigtner or curling iron or any thing that damages your hair stop and just wear it naturally. hair grows slow for some people and if thats your problem then you could get hair extensions clip in ones are about $60 bucks compared to ones put in your hair that are about $200 anyways good luck

You have to try brushing it every day, and it grows faster.

It also helps to straighten it (if it isn't already strait.) As you might know, there are some machines you can buy that make it straight.
