Should i go back to the stylist for a touch up?

Asked by rumbamel over 2 years ago, 1 answer.

Just a follow up on the last question. I got my dark brown hair colored and highlighted about 2 weeks ago and I can already see grey roots growing. It's only visible when I smash my hair down and part it, but I know they are there. So, it will...

probably be really visible at the one month mark. The highlights are a redish brown color. Should I just go back to the stylist. The whole thing cost me $55, how much do you thing a touch up will run?

Thanks for any advice you have,
rumbamel

The cost for touch ups vary. If the whole dye and highlight only ran you 55, a touch up should be half to less than half of that. If the roots are bugging you now, I'd suggest going in for that touch up. If you think that you can wait until the month mark, then do so, you'll end up retouching only once a month instead of twice. And remember, no one is scrutinizing your part for greys like you!
