Gothic party ideas

ok so in about a months time (31st october) I am having a sweet 16 gothic themed party. I have most of the stuff planned such as invitation list, some decoration, music, etc. but all I need to know is what food should I serve and what other decorations...

should I use, and entertainment. So far I have candles, scarlet red and purple colours for balloons, table cloths, some cobwebs (not too many to make it too halloween ish) so yh what else should I use to make it really gothic, but not too gothic that it looks like a halloween party, because seeing as its my birthday party I need to look more like it is a birthday. I have also told people not to dress in halloween costumes, but stuff that is gothic like dark pixies/faeries, vampires, dark prince and princesses etc. for entertainmeant I have a dj but its just not enough, I am going to hold a couple of competitions, like best dressed and karaoke, but I need some games to play generally for 15-16 year olds, apart from truth or dare? so anyone got any ideas for me? thnx x

can I ask are you goth or emo because there is a difference
2/faires and pixis are not gothic. will I would say get some black candles some crosses and what kind of music is your dj playing I would say best of all the mission the cult the sisters.and if you are really stuck you can do what I did and have your party in and grave yard

thnx, im kinda both but within my own style, im just really into the whole gothic kinda thing and yh I know pixies and faeries arent gothic, but I meant like dark faeries or pixies, and my party is being held in a church, no graveyard unfortunately =[ but it shud be good still, I've just got a mixture of music, because of the people going I have to think about what they wud want as well as me so theres a big mix really.

arent skeletons a little bit too halloween, I was thinking skulls maybe but not those cheap plastic halloween things (lol) but realistic looking skulls?
