What are good shoes for a preppy dude?

I have to admit that my style is preppy. and since I live in arizona I usually wear sandals everywhere
but in the winter your toes just cant be out in the open, it aint pretty lol

so my question is
what kindo shoes do you think are good for a preppy...

guy to wear with shorts or jeans
price doesnt matter but I hope their not like 200 bucks
please help

A lot of it depends on the outfit. Doc Martens are always nice. If you're looking for more traditional, like loafers, the brand Aigner is really good. It's hard to say without knowing what type of outfit you're wearing, so if you give me more information here I can help ya more.

uh..well im usually wearing a t shirt from hollister
um..i wear every color except pink and black, so something that will go w/ those lol
and im 15 so it has to be something that a young person would wear
i havent heard of those two brands but ill look in to them

Well most of my guy friends have preppy styles so i guess you should wear sandals but in the winter wear a really nice sneaker

alright well if you are wearing hollister, no pink then you aren't really preppy.

If you want to go for a preppy look stick to vineyard vines, polo, some j.crew, lilly pulitzer, brooks brothers, thomas pink or even orvis for clothes.

as far as shoes go doc martens are not preppy at all. stick to rainbows, sperry's, mens leather saddle shoes. Brands like sperry, sebago, raindow sandals or really nice tan driving loafers.

with preppy style stay away from big chain stores like hollister and abercrombie, black leather anything, any kind of gold chains, cargo pants/shorts, skinny jeans, the color black.
