Good old scary movies?

What are some REALLY good old scary movies?
Like, really scary ones,
and none of the new one's,
they aren't scary...

(I already know about IT, and Nightmare On Elm Street.)

Search for films by Alfred Hitchcock. A little old maybe, but the suspense is great happy

The only scary movie I can think of is possibly the first ever Dawn of the Dead,it was lame but still a zombie flick.

you could try some good old zombie movies like
night of the living dead
dawn of the dead
day of the dead
28 days later and
28 weeks later (both newer)
the new resedent evil films are also pretty good

Just saw quite a recent movie called The Orphanage. It is a Spanish movie with English subs but it is excellent!

Well worth watching with lots of spooky moments.

there is one called my little eye that was pretty creepy. It was about these people that win an internet contest and have to stay in a house to win (think big brother ) but they start dying, one by one, and if you leave you lose so no one leaves and the place is in the middle of nowhere anyway...very creepy. Also one called the juror and it has Anthony Perkins in his pre-psycho days. A psychological creep out. hush hush sweet charlotte with bette davis...angel Heart with micky rourke...the others with nicole Kidman...the old twilight zones are creepy and great if you have a short attention span.
