Good bands...

I am trying to find new bands who sort of sound like rogue wave, the yeah yeah yeahs, DCFC, Sufjan Steven, tegan and sara or Neutral Milk hotel... something with good lyrics, and something well played, any suggestions?

I don't know any of that kinda music but I like bands like rammstein, misfts, maybe youd like tokyo hotel or red jump suit appararus I don't know what you like. im also a good marylnn manson fan tho

no, I dont really like those types of bands, although I know some rammstein, I like more folk indie melodic music, rhythms that get stuck in your head...

If you were a good Marilyn Manson fan you'd spell it right...

I always try to ask questions about bands like this and nobody knows of good music these days... so I am doubtful that you'll get a decent answer.. even though the Stone Temple Pilots are good.
I'm assuming you know if The Postal Service bc you mentioned DCFC.also, anything else Ben Gibbard has been involved in.
I know that The Killers are very main stream, but if you actually listen to the full Sam's Town and Sawdust album you may like them. Like they say don't judge a book by it's cover.
The Format is also very good. hmm If I can think of anything else I'll let you know...

There's Apostle of Hustle, Belle and Sebastian (Whom I looovelvovelove), Bright Eyes, the Decemberists, Gregory and the Hawk, the Dresden Dolls, Modest Mouse, Mother Mother, Nick Drake, Radiohead, the Weakerthans, Simon and Garfunkel, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bloc Party..

That's lots, I know. I also really love Beirut, who are a more brass instrument type of deal, and I love Joy Division, and Tom Waits if you feel dirty and like drinking. The Violent Femmes, the Clash, The Arctic Monkeys, The Sex Pistols and so on are fun. The Streets are rap but very sexy rap.
