If you have a weight problem that's threatening your health, I would advise against getting a tummy tuck. You're still a young person (my age happy ) and surgery has its risks. You can get serious scarring and possible infection, since a tummy tuck is very unnatural.

I know it's hard work and the results don't come right away, but exercise and a healthy diet are the way to go. I don't know if you wanted to hear advice like that, but for the sake of your own body, that's what I suggest.

Marilyn, if you are going in for cosmetic surgery, the doctor will have had talks with you on the dangers.

I say go for it. I know someone who also had bypass surgery and then operations to remove excess skin and they came through fine. You have already saved your life with the surgery in 2004. Now is the time to continue your life. Be brave, and follow the doctor's directions.

no..have you seen some of the horrific results of this stuff? besides..I'm not into it anyway, so I guess I would say no. However, think of it this way. If you have to ask people online about it, chances are you're not sure. IF you're NOT sure, you shouldn't do it. right?

marilyn54,
I'd have to say no.
Why spend all that money when you could get the same results by getting active and healthy. Drink lots of water, eat healthy meals, eat proper portions of food, exercise daily... thats all you have to do, same results just takes longer. Just remember all the money you will be saving though. You can do it if you put your mind to it, I believe in you.

NOOO because seriously having surgery is just saying you don't like how god (or wutever god you believe in) made u. it's a cry out for help. so if you don't like your stomach start excercising and eating healthy it's better than a tummy tuck. If its really hard for u (its hard 4 me!!) go to a dance class with your friends or workout with them. some tummy tucks mess up your body leaving scars. sometimes surgery goes wrong so don't! and eat healthy!!!
