Do you think global warming is real or a hoax?

I think there is very sufficient evidence saying that global warming is very real. People label it as a hoax most likely because they are leaders of big businesses that will lose money due to the bad publicity they have been recieving because of their companies harming the environment. There are also people who are delusional or unaware of all the facts who say that it is a hoax. Global warming is out there and we need to put an end to it by doing whatever we can to save our environment.

how could something that is already affecting earth and the atmosphere and has proven its damage possibly be a haox. I am trying to do what I can to help global warming. like really think about it, go outside and look around and look at earth, then think of what if would be like if we didnt hurt it so much!
I adore mother earth, I find peace, tranquility and life in the outdoors. So I would like to try and keep it that way. npbody wants their yard to be another garbage dump, or a street for people to frive on and use gas. Gasoline is like carbon dyoxide for mother earth she cant live if there is no air for her to breathe. So all in all we are just making her pay for making our world a beautufil place. [not that it will be if we keep wrecking it]

hope this changes your mind!

I totally believe it's real, although sometimes the way it gets reported is a bit crazy and exaggerated. I'm trying to start a group for people who care about the environment - if any of you are interested in 'Green Living' please join the new Fun Advice group with that name and then we can help each other with practical ideas.

I agree with toadaly and flossheal. Global warming as a phenomenon is very real, to the point where it's no longer debated among true climatologists. However, the impacts of it are still up for debate, because they rely mostly on model data, and errors are increased exponentially in models the further out you go.

I believe some people with agendas are taking the most extreme model predictions and using them to fearmonger. However, the truth is global warming will have different impacts on different regions, some potentially very bad, others possibly being good.

ok global warming is real. there is no way it can be fake. if it is not real explain why r ice caps are melting and polor bears are dying. I read a article that because global warming is real polor bears are on the endangered species list. and it is emposible to take them off now. also all the heat waves and hurricans and everything that is all happeneing because global warming our earths temp. is fluctuating so much. think of our o-zone as a blanket. befor it was thin but over the years the more it got warmer more it stayed in so it makes the blanket thiker which traps the heat in and causes ice to melt and sea levels begin to rise. so for all you peeps out there that think this is fake. you R SO TOTALLY WRONGE!!!

Global warming?

My problem isn't with the reality that the earth's climate may be warming. My problem is with those who simply blame man and are preaching gloom and doom in the sky is falling tradition.

Considered collectively, there is clear and convincing evidence of a 1,500-year climate cycle. And if the current warming trend is part of an entirely natural cycle, as Singer and Avery conclude, then actions to prevent further warming would be futile, could impose substantial costs upon the global economy and lessen the ability of the world's peoples to adapt to the impacts of climate change.

I think most people that dont believe it just dont want it to happen and are looking for excuses not to change their lives.
