Girls, do you like when random guys ask you out?

Do you like it when random guys ask you if you'd be interested in going on a date?

The other night I went out to dinner with 2 of my friends, and on the way out, my one friend said to the hostess "what would you say if I asked you for a date?" I couldnt hear what she said, but my friend then said "well how about I give you my number and you call me if your interested" (and this friend of mine is usualy not like this so it was funny at the time) But I guess she called him the next day and they've been talking on and off.

On the other hand, I've witnessed other guys that have got shot down right away when asking a random girl out.

So is it good or bad to do?

It's different for different girls, and the same girls in different moods. Plus you never know if they're single.

well I belive it never hurts to ask...and as long as you dont do it in a vulgar way than it should be ok...I recomend you give the girl your number this ill put less pressure on her to decide on the spot...she can think and decide later that way.besides whats the worst that can happen they say no?...you move on...at least you gave it a shot they say yes...youre golden.

no... but don't do it in a creepy way. Also when guys give me their number I NEVER call. The guy should call the girl, and if they give you a wrong number then they were not into you, if you actually get the number that means their actually feeling you. Don't act cocky, or use any stupid pickup lines either, always a no no.

I guess it depends how you do it ... like once I was studying at starbucks and ended up dropping my books labtop and everything on the floor and some really cute guy helpped me pick everything up. By that I could tell he was just a nice guy but we really hit it off. Of course now we are just friends but I guess it really depends on who does it and if your comfrotable with it

I guess it depends on the girl. I LOVE when random hott guys ask me out if I new it just wasnt to win a bet or anything.
