good friend and I dont want to loose her, but I dont want to go out with her. How can I say no, im sorry with out hurting her feelings and still have her as a friend (aside from the corny and see through lets just be friends )?

tell her how you really feel. tell her how much you like her as a friend, tell her what you like about her, and why you like all the different aspects of her. than explain to her that all of those things would be ruined by dating and that you really need her as a friend.

and accept the fact that you will hurt her feelings, even if you do let her down easy. she likes you and the fact that you dont like her back will hurt her just hang in there. and do not make a big deal about it. try to talk with her just as you normaly would afterwards and make an effort to make your friendship normal it will kinda be awkward for a while but dont let that ruin your friendship
