What are gift ideas for my boyfriend of 8 months?

I'm having a REALLY hard time right now.
I have a boyfriend for 8 months, and I don't know what to get him.

I would normally get him something that I know he likes, but its kinda cheap.
I want to get something that serioulsy means something, but I don't know what I can do.

You say you've been with this guy for 8 months, right? Okay...so, in those 8 months have you guys done something that both of you enjoy (go to a concert, party, special place, something that both of you enjoyed) get what I'm saying? Well, if you did and you have a picture of that 'special moment' then all you can do is frame it and there ya go. It would remind him of that time every time he looked at the pic (and put a smile on his face)..I guess you can try that. I think it would be a nice simple gift.
