Gift for mom for the 5th aniversary of her waking up from a coma?

my mom wenet into a coma in 04. she woke up on11/12/04 and ever since then we have celebrated a second birthday for her on that day. I was wondering a special idea of someathing to do/make her. I have no money, and don't want to do some artsy thing,...

also I have no music skills, and an not good at writting.

Tell your mom I said congrats on making a successful recovery. Cook her a very special dinner of things you both like and when you serve it,tell her it came from your heart and happy that she's there with you to this day.

she is diabetic, she cannot have carbs or sugar, so all I could cook is veggies...that is why she went into a comashe didn't know she had idabetes

How about planning an some sort of all day event, just something that gets everyone out and moving, I think the last thing someone would want to do on that kind of day is just sit around all day.

what I always do is take her to the beach, her fav place...but recently we move 600 miles from any beach to a town with nothing to do, it only has like 450 people so what should I do to get her out of the house here?
