Chrysler engineers built a motorcycle with a V-10 Viper engine - I don't think it's been maxed out.
It's named the Dodge Tomahawk:
According to the official specs 0-60 mph times have been estimated at 2.5 seconds, with an estimated top speed of 300+ mph. But there are also reports that the top speed is 676 km/h (about 420 mph)..It is very unlikely that anyone will ever test the vehicle, due to safety concerns and the price of the Tomahawk itself. Dodge has expressed interest in one day taking it to the Bonneville salt flats, but as of yet has not.
hyabusa..thats what I've heard anyways, I saw one at a dealership the other day, and it looked fast..but you cant really tell just by looking. I think im pretty close though!!
Quickest, is not the same as fastest'... go to http://www.gizmag.com/go/6550/
to view the record holder at 354.832 miles per hour!
I have heard that the Y2K is the fastest but I dont know of specs and that was a few years ago so by now it has probably changed. The Suzuki GSX1300R (Hayabusa) is the fastest (regarding top speed) produstion bike at stock.
