Getting over my ex

I cant seem to get over my ex. he went out of the country 4 months ago but after about a month I read email he was sending to his ex about how he wants to get it on with her again, asking her to explain her behaviour then before they broke up. I was livid and heart broken so I broke it off with him. later on, we became friends again, but all the time, seems like I cant get over him,I miss him so much but then there are all these doubts. I know its probably best I let it all go because sometimes I sound clingy even to me. lately I am not answering his calls,or emails or text messages. do you think this is the best way to get over him?

Best advice I could give is this if he really wants to be with you what you're doing now is the best. The fact that your not responding to anything he's sending you makes him wonder what the hell you're doing. Believe me my ex is doing the same to me and it's killing me to know whats she's doing. If you want to get over him you're taking the right steps if you feel you haven;t said everything you wanted write a letter (and take your time ) drop it off without seeing him and see the results. I can always manage to put things better in a letter then what I talk to the person face to face.

I say unless he shows up at your doorstep with a bouquet of roses and a heartfelt apology then keep doing what your doing. He obviously isn't showing enough effort to get back with you.
