Getting my lip pierced

so I heard when you get your lip pierced you cant take drugs like advil to stop the pain, is that true?

They do not give you pain killers. Maybe where she went they did, but in pretty much ALL places, they don't. The pain isn't going to be that bad. If you don't like pain and don't have a high tolerance for it, then getting a piercing isn't for you.

It is a pinch. It is not that bad. You can take advil to help with any pain after like swelling. And piercers do not give you pain pills.

besides taking painkillers for a lip peircing my friend used the thing people use when a baby is teething, its supposed to help.

but I think they allow you to take painkillers

I pierced my lip on my own about 2 months ago and I haven't had any problems since
just keep it well disinfected and you should be fine

as for pain try getting your bellybutton done UGH save your pain killers for that
there's nothing wrong with taking pain killers for any piercing

You DON'T pierce ANYTHING yourself so don't get any idiotic ideas from stop_the_blood_shed. As long as you have it done PROFESSIONALLY it won't hurt that bad. You WON'T need pain killers unless your a massive whimp. It takes a few seconds to do and then it's done. It won't ever be unbearable so you can easily handle it.
