German romance

Ok, this might sound weird...but I dont speak german and I have started seeing someone who is german! We speak in english but I would really like to come out with something really romantic in german...apart from ich liebe dich!!!
If anyone here speaks...

online translators never work, so ignore the above answer. I used it for a spanish homework assignment like 2 years ago...BAD IDEA. especially if you want to say it to someone and it's the're language. if it's not what you meant to say, it could get akward. I suggest you like make friend w/ someone who takes german and ask them (if there is german in yur school) and the german teacher (if it's in yur school and if you dont mind asking a teacher). other than that, the're not much you could do other than learn a little german from like one of those rosetta stone programs.

online translators almost NEVER work, as lovestruck7233 said. They come out with the most ridiculous translations (I should know, I decided I'd try and cheat in my German homework once - my teacher could tell straight away because of the awful mistakes it told me!)

You can buy books so you can each yourself german with tapes and stuff if you want to learn a bit more.

I speak a fair bit of german, but it really depends on what you want to say tbh. What I think is romantic may be completely cheesy to you lmao.

Finding an online german DICTIONARY is sometimes good. We use this one in school for little random phrases and stuff:

just type what you want to say in the little box and it'll come up with the closest matches it can find

I think its very flattering when a girl trys to learn a language her boyfriend speaks besides english.
