Gays, bi's, straights

Asked by film4fun 2 months ago, 3 answers.

I dont know if I'm bi or not, im down with love and physical attractions between two people, not neccisairly between a dude and a chick or a dude and a dude or a chick and a chick...etc. I get super pissed off when people, especially gay people, get mad that more people are refering to themselves bisexuals these days. I have read so many posts on here where people are like; 'why does everyone call themselves bi' or 'why do all teenage girls say they are bi'. Not only is that an exageration on their part but it is also so irrelevent. I understand that gays fought very hard for the minimal rights they have today, but is it not a tad hippocritical? Perhaps now that being gay is more a norm in society, people feel more comfortable experimenting with their sexuality, and whatever they want to call themselves in this experimental stage should not bother anyone and it should be accepted. Especially by someone who is gay and who has most likley been in a similiar situation of not knowing who they are in terms of their sexuality. Obviously, feel free to disagree. I dont mean to ramble endlessly but I just think it is an interesting topic to discuss.

I would say a good majority of these teenagers are not in fact gay, or bi-sexual
there bi-curious
los of chicks kiss chicks at partys, same with guys
but this is usually for attention, because there drunk, or because there horny
and gay people dont like everyone saying there gay when there not
I mean, its the same with any other subject
a chritian wouldnt like someone else saying there christian if there not
being gay, bi, ect is a life choice, its not something you do part time
if you have feelings for both men and women sexually
then your bi
if you are a boy/girl and have sexual feelings only for another of your gender
then you are bisexual
most of the people claiming to be bi are bi-curiose, in other words, open to experimenting

Like jaz said, a lot of people are not infact bi, but bi-curious, or simply doing it for attention. It is like a fad for them. This makes gay people look like they have a choice when it comes to their sexuality, and they are simply choosing to be homosexual. Like the stuff they have to deal with and struggle with is really their fault...

In addition, like you pointed out, a lot of gay people have infact gone through the phase where they believed they were bi (a lot less scary than admitting to yourself you are gay) and so they may be more skeptical of people who say they're bi, believing they are simply on their way to picking one side or another.

I personally dont care what people call themselves, labels are way to restricting as far as I'm concerned...

yeah I know I hate it when people pronouce them selves bi because they look at another guy and get thoughts like what jazlovestoskate said bi curious. but we can't prove it to other. I know I'm bi because I have a girl friend and a fool around buddy which she knows about and is ok with it as long as it just stays oral and not past the urge. like I can see him once a month but I love my girl and she loves me I wouldn't date a guy but fool around yes. weird huh but I haven't fooled around in a long while
