Gay genes

Okay, so I've been listening to this show.
And their saying they think they want to find a 'Gay Gene'.
Do you think there is actually a 'Gay Gene'?

And they are also saying, if they DO find a 'Gay Gene' they want to find a way so they can find out if a...

parents child will be gay or not while it's still in the wound... and they want to be able to change that gene if the parents don't want their child to be gay.

Do you think that is right?
Their messing with genetics. I mean, im only 14 and I know I may not know much, but wouldnt that be the wrong thing to do? If someone was made to be gay, shouldnt they stay that way? Arent things supposed to stay the way they are?

It just bugs me knowing that they want to mess with that kind of stuff.

Ok well if there is a gay gene, I understand that people would be upset about parents wanting to fix their child. But I have to say that I don't think it is bad to want that for your child, imagine how hard it is being a gay or lesbian in society today. If I were a parent I would want my child to have the easiest life possible, I would want them to be free of the critisism that gays and lesbians have to face. Because of this I would have to say that I don't think it is wrong for parents to have the choice of a having a straight child or not.
